Labioplasty

Labiaplasty cosmetic procedures for helping women improve the appearance of their labia minora, which are the inner lips and folds of skin on either side of the vagina. Labiaplasty refers to plastic surgery of the labia minora and is generally performed for women who perceive their labia as visually unappealing or too long in length. Some women have abnormal, excessive length to their labia, a condition commonly referred to as labial hypertrophy, a labia that is longer than four centimeters that extends well beyond the labia majora.

A common length for a labia is generally one that is no longer than three centimeters. What’s more, women with long labia complain of a number of symptoms, such as vaginal irritation, discomfort during walking or exercising, along with sitting, or other activities requiring any type of range of motion. Furthermore, women have also reported discomfort during sex along with a general feeling of aesthetic dissatisfaction with their look, feel, and appearance of the labia.

Fortunately, cosmetic surgery can correct these aesthetic issues, making life much more enjoyable for women. After labiaplasty, most women are extremely satisfied with the results and are glad they went through with the procedure.

Labiaplasty is also known as labial rejuvenation, a common procedure for women who have given excessive childbirth or birth to abnormally large children.
